CASTABLE ABUTMENTS

The Casting abutment with CoCr base is offered with a machined base, made out of Chrome Cobalt. This abutment was designed for angle related issues; providing a possible angle adjustment of up to 30 degrees when custom made, and in some cases depth problems (too deep or too shallow), thanks to the CrCo base you have the precision of a machined abutment. Through the combination of a plastic sleeve and a metal base, this abutment provides precision that has rarely been seen before. It can be either with an anti-rotational attachment (hexed) or without one (non hexed).

When to use
- Multi screw or cement-retained restorations.
- Single screw or cement retained restorations
- Correct angles up to 30 degrees
- Depth problems
- Hexed > Single tooth restorations
- Non-hexed > Implant retained fixed prostheses.
- It can be used as a provisional prosthesis.

How to use

  1. These abutments are modified and prepared in the patient’s mouth or in the laboratory with a working cast (using addition silicones to reproduce gingival morphology)
  2. The abutment must be carefully hand-tightened into the lab analog with an abutment retaining screw.
  3. Lab process
  4. When cast is ready, it is then fixed to the implant by the recommended abutment screw and torque is dictated by manufacturer’s instructions (30 Ncm)
